Over the past two years, Sunlight Group has made significant investments in acquiring top-tier talent to strengthen our Compliance division. Operating under stringent standards and meeting high industry demands, we have achieved global recognition, including the prestigious EcoVadis Gold Medal for our commitment to ESG. This distinction places Sunlight among the top 5% of organizations worldwide for exceptional sustainability performance—a feat made possible by the contributions of talented individuals like Ms. Stela Poulouxi, whom we proudly nominate for the “20 Under 40” competition.
One of her key responsibilities has been ensuring that Sunlight maintains multiple ISO certifications across our facilities in the USA, Germany, Italy, Greece, and Spain. She has also played a pivotal role in developing accredited laboratories under ISO 17025, which has guaranteed the safety and quality of our manufacturing processes, leading to 100% quality products for our global customers and the 118 markets that we are operating today.
Additionally, she expanded the scope of laboratories to include several IEC standards, ensuring our continued compliance with industry regulations. She successfully hosted the demanding audits conducted by Greece’s National Accreditation Body (ESYD), which oversees ISO 17025 schemes. Through ongoing internal audits and process improvements, Stela has strengthened our alignment with global regulations and bolstered our operational excellence. Her efforts have also led to significant cost optimization in our production lines.
A major accomplishment under her leadership has been enabling the company to issue in-house product performance test reports. This reform of ISO 17025 accreditation schemes has made Sunlight more competitive globally, eliminating the need for third-party performance test reports for non-EU shipments and generating substantial cost savings. Ms. Poulouxi has directly impacted the company’s bottom line and improved time-to-market, solidifying our industry leadership.
Stela’s foresight has positioned Sunlight among the first companies in the European Union to develop and accredit laboratories of this scope under ISO 17025. her efforts have significantly enhanced the Group’s export capabilities, creating long-term efficiencies that will benefit Sunlight for years to come.

Ms. Poulouxi, 30, has been with Sunlight for two years, holding the position of Integrated Management System Expert. She holds a BSc. in Chemistry and an MSc. in Electrochemical Testing, a rare and highly sought-after background in Compliance.
She holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Ioannina and an MSc in Analytical Chemistry, and she pursue a PhD at the Democritus University of Thrace. With 6 years of experience in the Compliance.
Stela has utilized advanced technological tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, real-time alerts, and QR systems to streamline operations & foster a safe sustainable environment at Sunlight.
